Over the weekend I officially earned my first college degree in Paralegal Studies. As the first person in my family to earn a college education, this achievement means even more to me. My journey into the legal field was inspired by my own experiences with police brutality, which sparked a passion for justice, advocacy, and creating meaningful change.

I’m proud to already be working as a paralegal, but this is only the beginning. My long-term goal is to become an attorney and, one day, serve as a judge. This degree is more than a milestone. It’s proof that perseverance, purpose, and faith can turn adversity into opportunity.

One step closer.

Belize City sits below sea level, which means the Caribbean literally breathes around it 🌊
Built at the mouth of the Belize River, this city was once the gateway for colonial trade ships exporting mahogany to Europe. #travel #explorepage✨ #belize taken in Belize City, Belize by @greygoglobal

Puerto Rico became a U.S. territory in 1898 after the Spanish-American War, when Spain ceded the island to the United States in the Treaty of Paris. The U.S. established its own government there, and in 1917 Puerto Ricans were granted U.S. citizenship yet the island remains an unincorporated territory, not a state #travel #explore #fyp #puertorico🇵🇷 taken in San Juan, Puerto Rico by @greygoglobal

The Berlin Wall was built in 1961 by East Germany to prevent its citizens from fleeing to West Berlin. It stood as a powerful symbol of the Cold War, dividing the city until it was brought down on November 9, 1989, following political changes and public protests. Its fall marked the beginning of German reunification and the end of Soviet influence in Eastern Europe. #travel #travelinfluencer #travelblogger #germany #europe #fyp #explorepage taken in Berlin Wall by @greygoglobal

Kosovo similar to Palestine has struggled to achieve full international recognition due to opposition from powerful states with territorial claims —Israel regarding Palestine, and Serbia regarding Kosovo. In both cases, recognition has been granted by many countries and international organizations, but their status remains contested, and they face significant diplomatic challenges in gaining widespread acceptance as sovereign nations.

The Stone Bridge in Skopje, dating back to the 15th century Ottoman era, spans the Vardar River, linking the city's old bazaar with the modern city center. As an enduring symbol of Skopje's history, it reflects the city's blend of cultural influences and stands as a key landmark in North Macedonia 🇲🇰.
