I’m beyond blessed and incredibly grateful to announce my official commitment to continue my academic and athletic career by running Division II Track & Field and Cross Country at Edward Waters University!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity. Throughout this journey, I leaned on my faith, trusted his plan for me.

To my parents and siblings, thank you for every sacrifice you’ve made to help me chase this dream. From the early mornings and long drives to the countless races and practices, you’ve always believed in me. I truly wouldn’t be here without your love and support.

To my teammates and coaches, thank you for pushing me to become the athlete and person I am today. Every workout, race, and lesson has shape me to be a better athlete. I’m nothing without the people who have stood beside me throughout this journey.

A special thank you to Coach Gonzales and Coach Berry for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. We’ve built a strong relationship throughout my time at Mandarin, and I’m honored to continue that at the next level. I’m excited to help build something special at Edward Waters.

This journey hasn’t always been easy. There were sleepless nights, moments of self-doubt, races that didn’t go my way, and times when I questioned whether I was good enough. But every setback made me stronger and fueled my fire to keep chasing my dream.

Being able to continue competing at the collegiate level is something I’ve dreamed about for years, and I couldn’t be more thankful. This is only the beginning, and I’m ready to embrace every challenge and opportunity that comes with this next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and helped me get to this point. I’m forever grateful for you all.
