MEA Weekend Reminder & Picture Day A reminder to all GRGA families that all practices will be held as usual over MEA weekend. Please plan to attend your regularly scheduled practice times! We also have Picture Day this Friday and Saturday! Please see the schedule below. Friday, October 16 • 3:30–5:30 PM: Beginner / Advanced / Level 1 & 2 • 5:30–7:00 PM: Intermediate 2 / Xcel Bronze Saturday, October 17 • 9:00–10:00 AM: Level 5–9 • 10:00–11:00 AM: Level 3–4 / Xcel Silver–Platinum If you missed your scheduled picture time from last week, no worries! Feel free to come during any of Friday’s time slots. Just be sure to write your gymnast’s class on the order form. Thank you, and have a great MEA weekend! by @grgymacademy

Thank you! Pink The Rink 2026 was a great success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of so many people! This before-and-after picture doesn’t begin to capture how much work goes into hosting a gymnastics meet. There is a semi-trailer and a large U-Haul full of equipment that all needs to be unloaded, assembled, and set up. On top of that, there are concessions, admissions, awards, the coaches’ and judges’ hospitality room, and so much more. Most importantly, it takes a LOT of people working together to make a meet happen, and we truly can’t say thank you enough. First and foremost, thank you to our GRGA team families for giving your time, energy, and support to your gymnast and to GRGA. We appreciate everything you do! Thank you to all of the visiting clubs for bringing your gymnasts, families, and coaches to Grand Rapids. We are so grateful you chose to be part of Pink The Rink 2026! Thank you to our judges for being available and for all of your hard work and support throughout the meet. And a huge thank you to Yanmar Arena, the City of Grand Rapids, GOALS Equipment Rental, and Score Your Meet for helping make this event possible. We’re sure we’ve forgotten to mention someone in this post, but please know that every person who helped, in big ways or small, is appreciated more than we can say. That’s a wrap on Day 2 of Pink The Rink 2026! Our Xcel Bronze and Silver gymnasts took the floor today for the final day of competition, and we are so proud of all of our GRGA gymnasts! Below are our top 3 finishes for GRGA from today’s competition. We are proud of every gymnast who competed and represented GRGA this weekend! Day 1 of Pink The Rink is in the books! There is something extra special about opening our competition season right here at home. We are so proud of our Level 3–5 gymnasts for stepping onto the competition floor today and showing off all of the hard work they have put in leading up to this season. And what better day to kick off our season than National Gymnastics Day! We are so grateful for this sport, the athletes who give it their all, the coaches who pour into them, and the families who support them every step of the way. A big congratulations to all of our gymnasts who competed today! Go to www.grgymacademy.com 2. Open the Parent Portal
Click on the Parent Portal tab. 3. Log in or create an account
Log in to your existing account or sign up for a new one. 4. Select the September 2026 session
Click on the Session tab and select September 2026. 5. Find your class
Choose the class that works best for you. Make sure you see “School-Year” listed next to the class to ensure you are registering for the correct session. 6. Get ready to have fun! 
Come to GRGA on your first day of class, have fun, make new friends, and learn some awesome new skills! We can’t wait to see you in the gym! by @grgymacademy

This week was extra special as we celebrated Andrea’s birthday the best way we know how, together. 💗 From team bonding and making memories to lots of laughs along the way, we spent the week celebrating the incredible community she built. Her love for these girls and this gym continues to inspire everything we do, and we’re grateful to carry on the traditions that meant so much to her. Happy birthday week, Andrea.
