Surrounded by family we laid my grandmother to rest under a beautiful old oak tree that provided us with shade and comfortability in the blistering Florida heat.

We spread her ashes amongst the roots of a new oak that will grow to provide safety and sanctuary to those who will inherit this world long after we are gone.

The plaza where she will be honored has been a focal point of the city of St.Augustine since 1573 and I am glad that such a wonderful woman gets to be included in all its history. Thank you for all the love you gave and all the love you still have left to give. We miss you by @griffxvx

How lucky am I to be able to love this beautiful woman on her 27th birthday. Your first birthday as my wife but like the 26th as the love of my life. I’m so grateful for everything you do for me and allowing us to make an out of the way stop for churros after dinner tonight. I love you and I can’t wait to do it even better next year💛 by @griffxvx
