Working towards replacing old bridging with new joist blocking. Slow process of removing old nails paying close attention to keeping the surface of the wood intact. Exposed Joists and Chimney that was sadly hidden away behind plaster for years. Disgusting demo but well worth it. Immense beauty can be found in the past. Will work to leave as much as this open as possible, its hard to pinpoint why these things spark my design interest so much but the journey in understanding has been so rewarding. by @grifterslice
