I've been a damn wreck since... thank you for everything @dollyparton 💞🦋🎀 by @grim_bucket

I started a campaign for my friend, Majd, in Gaza. His previous campaign was shut down by Go Fund Me and he reached out to me to open another one for him. I suggested Chuffed as they openly support Palestine.
This is my first campaign I’ve started and I want to be as transparent with funds as possible.
Anyone who has been paying attention for the last 18+ months probably knows that Palestinians rely on people outside of Palestine to raise funds for them. Palestine is not a recognized nation in some countries and on some platforms. This makes it much harder for those in Gaza who are facing famine and are forced to buy food at exorbitant prices. Any amount that you can give adds up and helps a bunch!

This has been happening for the last several decades. Palestinians have been forced out of their homes and Palestinian land has gotten smaller. The United States gives 3.8 billion USD annually to Israel. How does the United States benefit from this? It’s the U.S’s #1 defense position in the middle east. The IDF is strapped with American military gear including M-16’s and Raytheon aerial defense systems. These articles are from this summer. Everyday Palestinians don’t have peace. There’s talk of a Palestinian State, but many Palestinians want sovereignty and NO ONE is listening. Even if the two-state solution were to pass, I have no doubt Israel will continue raiding Palestinian territories until they are no more. It is devastating that our country continues to fund this with our tax money but it’s not surprising.
