So proud of Ollie in his first ever AAU tournament. He checked all the boxes for me as a parent.

✅ He genuinely had a FUN time with his teammates.
✅ He learned from loss and struggle.
✅ He competed and gave his full effort from Game 1 to Game 4, win or lose.
✅ He can’t wait to play in the next tournament.

His Team Maryland did make it to the Championship and went from a 24 point loss on Saturday to a 5 point loss Sunday against Team Takeover. His team went 2-2 and improved a ton over 4 games, scoring their highest output in the Championship game.

Ollie played team basketball, hard defense, handled the press well, made winning plays vs jacking shots, and chipped in with 15 points in the Championship game.

Ollie had a blast at the Northeast Basketball Camp this week. He hit the clutch 3 to win his team the Championship to break the tiebreaker, and he won a few awards. Love watching him have fun playing Basketball and his competitive fire.

I had the incredible opportunity to serve as an Instructor and Coach at the Kara Lawson Basketball Camp this past week, from June 29 to July 2. Over those four days, I worked hands‑on with 170 girls ranging from rising 3rd graders through 12th graders, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. I connected with more than 20 college and high school coaches from across the country, exchanging ideas and learning new approaches to player development.

The highlight of my week was collaborating with Kara Lawson and the Duke Women’s Basketball staff, gaining insight into their coaching philosophy, and reinforcing my own commitment to empowering young women through basketball. I also had the incredible opportunity to attend a Duke University women’s Basketball practice, where I observed firsthand the intensity, precision, and culture that define their program, an experience that deepened my understanding of elite coaching and player development. by @grindubasketball

Week 2 was even better for the Grind U / AACC Girls High School Summer Basketball League. We had some very competitive games and the standings are very close heading into the last two games. Love providing these opportunities for these girls to get better and have enjoyable experiences playing competitive Basketball.
