@grinduro California returned to its birthplace of Quincy, California, once again in 2026, showcasing the spectacular trails on Mt. Hough with the beautiful Lost Sierra landscape as a backdrop.

@souphorse shares his thoughts and photos from this year’s event below… by @grinduro

Grinduroooooooooo!!!! 💜💜

Holy smokes it’s crazy to think that exactly 10 years ago was my first time rolling into little old Quincy! The magic that @sierratrails has been building up here, and all across the Lost Sierra, has shaped me so much as a person and rider!! This event has meant so much to me over the years and getting the opportunity to have a teeny-tiny part of fostering that magic is incredible.

Which is why it’s such a bummer and honestly downright confusing as to why none of you want to come hang out and ride some of the most picturesque trails in California! This event had one of the lowest turnouts I’ve seen, particularly after leaving last year with so much stoke and a real feeling of starting something great. I know the world is a crazy place these days, but to me, there is nothing better to block out the crap than disappearing into the mountains to race bikes all weekend! So let me know, what WILL get you out here?? It’s my goal to see this event succeed and spread the word of the magic that @sierratrails has built up on Mt. Hough!! So reach out, how can we get YOU out there in 2027??

Ok, enough event talk, onto the racing!! Coming in as defending champ for both @grinduro and the Mt. Hough Enduro was pretty wild, especially when real hitters like @danlikesbikes and @mctubbbin turn up to steal my lunch money. Had an absolute blast out there all weekend, partying it up at the back and ripping the stages! Snuck myself into second place 🥈 for grinduro, once again emptying the tank going up and hooning my @revel__metal El Jefe on the way down. Too dang fun. It may not be a full defense but regardless, proud to hold my own against legit pros!

Sunday was all about the Downcountry bikes and I was ready to let the @revelbikes Ranger go to work! Seeing Dan and Tobin in Lycra and road shoes on the start line, I knew I couldn’t let the roadie boys take my title 😂. Left it all out there and stoked to hold it down and take the win 🏆!!! I guess we were having too much fun going party pace at the back as we didn’t get a single riding shot 😂. I’d call that a proper party-to-race ratio🤙 by @grinduro

Fun times were had in Quincy. It’s just a shame Grinduro CA only comes round once a year! by @grinduro

If you’re not having fun, why bother doing it at all? Epic weekend in the Lost Sierra. 💕🥰💕@mctubbbin was on fire, minus his front and rear suspension. Your boy had that “on lock”. 😉👊🏽😉

Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend at Mountains to Meadows Endurofest! Grinduro on Saturday was a vibe—big stages, big views and the weather was perfect for a day in the saddle out on Mt. Hough. We’ll have full photo albums available from Grinduro and the Mt. Hough Enduro for download early this week–watch your inbox (and here) for links. For now, please enjoy Billy Sinkford’s gallery of highlights from the woods at Grinduro. ✌ by @grinduro

Ain’t no aero rubber gonna help you at Grinduro! With a mix of trail, pavement and everything in between, you want a tire that bites like a rabid dog and rolls faster than a fat kid who loves cake. Schwalbe have a range of Grinduro proven tires - check ‘em out in the expo at Grinduro California this weekend! by @grinduro
