Wada touge by @nd_project.co.jp has proven itself to be a solid map that’s well made, gorgeous, and the perfect length IMO. Of course it pairs well with the power range offered in the @originalthirtyfour pack.

I hope to see more people putting out touge maps like this in the coming months! What Touge do you think needs a rework or one that has never been made?

Some of the best tracks are the ones you randomly stumble across 👀

Water Source is a little-known drift spot set in Niigata, Japan. There’s very little information out there about this one, which makes it all the more interesting.

Another obscure piece of Assetto worth keeping around. A short touge featuring an actual turn around spot at each end 😭🙏

We’ve been stoked to put some time into the Marts Motorsports pack since it dropped last week.

With a couple small tweaks to things like brake feel, these cars are seriously fun to drive. Big tracks, tight tracks, fast layouts, slower technical stuff, they feel at home pretty much anywhere.

Huge congrats to Marts Motorsports on a successful launch. This pack has gotten a ton of attention for good reason!

Wada Touge sits above Kofu on Yamanashi Prefectural Road 104, a stretch once known for late-night street drifting in the early ’90s.

Now it’s been brought into Assetto Corsa by Nihon Drift Project.

Short, tight, scenic, and full of that old mountain-road feeling.

Japan almost made a clean sweep this week.

There are no real surprises in the top tracks. Some of the biggest names in Assetto Corsa mods filled the list, and I’m definitely a fan of how the numbers shook out.

B-Track Parking just works.

Low power cars, close tandems, big trains, night sessions, rain, and plenty of room to keep things moving without needing 800hp.

Three more from Japan 🇯🇵

A few tracks I think deserve more attention. Tokachi, Ebisu West, and Driftland all have their own thing going on, and none of them feel like the same stuff everybody already has installed.

A little older, a little overlooked, and to me that’s what makes them interesting. GDS Ebisu West is especially fun as it brings details and atmosphere that newer versions somehow lost.

Top tracks for this week are in 🏎️💨

OGP came out on top with their new comp layout in legendary Odaiba, Japan.

It does make you wonder how much more crossover there could be between real-world drifting and sim if more current competition layouts were actually available to drive.

A lot of major FD rounds this year have had little to no sim representation, and the few new layouts that do exist are often paid. Feels like there’s a huge opportunity being missed there for FD to support track makers as well as support the sim community by providing official track releases 🧐

Sim vs. Irl comparison from a run by @chasemcmaster at @ptcdriving on theGravity Cavity section of the track.

Pretty interesting to see the speed difference here, or lack of, considering the HP similarity (100hp more on sim). Also note the elevation difference of the track on sim. Maybe somebody needs to rework this track for AC. Just a thought.

Will be fun one day to get to run this track myself 😤

Also I wanted my footage to look better but 🥴 It’s hard to record monitors.
