Cuándo nacieron estas canciones en el Temazcal; en las ceremonias, conectando con mi corazón, por mucho tiempo, sólo las cantaba con mi tambor. Quería grabarlas y me tomo algo de tiempo decidir qué mis raíces norteñas y el rock en español serían parte del proyecto.
Algunos grandes músicos de Tijuana, amistades de Bodhisattva y otros talentos que resurgen en este momento de mi vida, me llevaron a grabarlas y se convirtieron en canciones de Raíz.
Canciones del Norte,
Canciones de mi México y de mi corazón.
Crecimos en las afueras, en las montañas y en los ranchos de Tecate, donde estaba lleno siempre de los encinos enormes que nos cuidaban con su sombra y su amor incondicional.

Aquí en Tecate ~ donde regreso ahora a celebrar la magia y el juego sanador del Temazcal.
Agradeciendo an mis ancestros, a mis abuelos, a mis padres y al Milagro que es estar Viva y recolectar con esta verdad tan libre.

Agradezco a la Tierra. Agradezco la oportunidad de respirar. De cantar y de trabajar estas canciones con el máster @gaelbarreda 🙏🏽 Agradecida con el Gran Misterio por llevarme a ti, y con tigo por tu gran talento, paciencia, y por entender mi visión.

I often get asked what is it exactly that I do?
I teach mindfulness and embodiment, lead Grief circles and ancestral healing retreats, I help people with addictions as well as wean off pharmaceuticals (if they sense they are no longer working) and I practice Compassionate Inquiry Therapy.
Sometimes… I also work with psycx @delics 💥🍄 If it is the right time and next step in someone’s healing journey.

In all my years of exploring my own healing, I have found that our Earth~ Nature is the most beautiful, powerful and intelligent healer.

And in a deep devotion to life, love and and the Grand Mystery that offers this experience here on earth; I have cultivated the art of healing through Earth Based Ceremonies ~
Because through the elements and its intelligence, we can remember who we are, AND at the same time, make meaning of Life~

In this world that is shifting and running on too much velocity, slowing down is a warranted act of rebellion.

Our nervous systems (bodies) might have a hard time at first with a slower rhythm, since we have been going on full throttle for so long. This hustle culture, consumerism, childhood trauma, mal nutrition and so much information via the medias coming through all the time is proving to be too much for our systems to handle.

We were not designed for this rushing~ and definitely not designed to do it alone.

There is a way through to healing, a way to practice and slow down enough to allow our bodies to catch up to our beautiful Souls. To allow ourselves to FEEL gently and slowly since this is what we came here for.

It is possible to Heal through the wisdom of your body, compassion, and the intelligence of Mother Earth, nature, plants, and the rest of the elements.

~You are the medicine, I am here to accompany you to RE-discover that. 🔥

You are not alone. We are in a Revolution that is so powerfully beautiful and strong. Healing is available to EVERYONE. Stop believing that you are alone and lost, it is a big fat lie- your Body has the Wisdom inside of it to show you the way to heal and process ancestral/ intergenerational trauma and all the emotions you’ve had to suppress. The Medicine of Community 🌿

Gris Alves joins Adam Jackson to share her journey from growing up between Mexico and the United States to finding her voice through music, recovery, and ceremony.

En este episodio de Recuperando la Vida, mi amiga Marta Salcedo comparte su historia profundamente personal de trauma, duelo y recuperación: desde el impacto de descubrir el intento de suicidio de su padre hasta años de terapia, trabajo corporal y aprendizaje para cultivar la compasión.

Marta reflexiona sobre cómo la danza, el coaching, la terapia Gestalt y las prácticas sagradas dieron forma a su camino para convertirse en facilitadora y acompañar a otras personas en sus propios procesos de sanación.

También exploramos el retiro Remembrance Mexico y el trabajo de Sacred Sons, donde los retiros se describen como una especie de “campamento de verano” inter-generacionales super divertidos y profundos, espacios inmersivos en los que la comunidad, las constelaciones familiares, los rituales y el movimiento creativo ofrecen oportunidades para conectar y vivir procesos de transformación profunda.

Remembrance Mexico | October 15–18 🌺🕯️

I had the honor of documenting @remembrancegathering 3 this year.

Words fall short of capturing the true impact of this space. It’s an intangible sense of community, deep healing, and transformation—a container that holds you like a child while gently pushing you toward your highest good.

I went deep with Team Jaguar this year. Watching the power of these incredible souls was breathtaking: joy, grief, embodiment, tears, smiles, breath, rage, empowerment, grounding, and reverence. Sacred sons and sisters, fully present together.

If you are looking for a sacred container—no matter where you are on your path—this is your invitation.

One family. One story. One mission.

There were many deeply moving moments over the weekend of Remembrance 3.

For me, this was one of the most monumental, a beautiful divine angel who stepped into her medicine as an Elder stepped to the centred of the circle to acknowledge and honour our 2 fierce Jaguar 🐆 group leaders Manu + Gris.

Bearing witness to the emerging Elders being cherished by the wisdom keepers is a piece of rebuilding the more than human village that I believe in dearly.

As we continue to answer the call and find the others, we keep on rebuilding culture one brick at a time.

To all of those present at Camp Parsons, thank you, I see you and am honoured to be sharing in this recalibration of the sacred with all of you.
