We had a great work night yesterday getting ready for next Thursday’s
Homers for HOCO event -
September 24th - at the baseball complex. Please mark your calendars to come join in the fun and help raise some funds for Grissom Baseball. We will have a home run derby for all ages with prizes, a dunk tank with some special guests from our community [to include our newly elected school board representative, Payten Redfearn!
Brooke Bell - Executive Director with South Huntsville Business Association, GHS teachers and coaches!], and a silent auction with some really cool signed merchandise!

The parade will start at 5:00 and will finish right at the baseball field’s main entrance near the tennis courts at approx.
5:30-5:45. Then everyone will make their way to the baseball field, where we will have all of the festivities and concessions will be open for business.

The next time you are at the baseball complex, please check out the new plaques outside of the locker room. These plaques honor the Grissom Baseball players who achieved 1st or 2nd Team All-State recognition and left a lasting legacy through their dedication, leadership, and excellence on and off the field.
This recognition was made possible through a generous donation from David Hall and Praetorium Technica LLC by @grissombsb

Save the date, Pickleball players!
Grissom Baseball Booster Club will be hosting a pickleball tournament fundraiser on Sunday, November 22nd at the new John Hunt Park Pickleball Complex. We will have competition within mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles, and each division will be broken into three age brackets. The tournament fee is $55 per player, which covers entry into two divisions per player.
Registration will go live later next month. Just be watching our social media pages for more information.

If you are interested in being a corporate sponsor for this event, please email GrissomBaseballbc@gmail.com. Your company can have naming rights with signage to one of the 18 competition courts the day of the tournament and logos on tournament t-shirts. by @grissombsb
