Accomplished something today I have been wanting to do for years. Getting my motorcycle endorsement! Can’t thank Mark, Kelly, and Doug at @desertwindhd enough for coaching our riding academy last week. And Mark for giving the 3 of us who needed a little extra coaching and a retest that opportunity today in the rain!! We all passed!!

Now for the fun part. To go buy a bike and continue to build on the riding skills I learned over the last 3.5 days!

Had a blast representing @4pllaz at the @dbacks tonight! @hideandgozekeb snagged a ball during BP and we had fun watching the game from several different vantage points throughout the night! taken in Chase Field by @grit_over_quit

I will never forget waking up for breakfast on campus in Garden Valley after getting back late from climbing Pikes Peak and the news on Michael Van Buskirk‘s clock radio saying an airplane had hit the twin towers and both of us sitting bolt upright, jumping out of our respective bunks, throwing on shoes and sprinting for the cafe. We got to the tv and two or three minutes later the second plane hit.

I remember being confused, and a little scared being half way across the country from my family. I also remember being so proud to be a part of a country that banded together in unity.

As we stand 25 years later as a divided nation. My hope/ prayer is that we can draw on these memories of unity and brotherly love and come together as a nation.

My hope is that it won’t take another event like this to draw us together. #NeverForget #USA 🇺🇸 by @grit_over_quit

Sitting here this AM reflecting on what an amazing day it was yesterday dedicating our @banner.church building. Getting to remember the long road it was to get there, but also remember and celebrate the purpose of this building. That it be a house of presence. Seeing the altars full of people young and old seeking that presence was my absolute favorite part! So grateful to be a part of this church and this mission! by @grit_over_quit

From Day 1 to your 6th birthday. I have loved you with all I am. You are fierce and fiery, yet sensitive and kind. I love your sense of wonder, your constant curiosity, and your love for adventure. Baptisms are always cool and special but today was extra special. Seeing my mother in law @gma.barb12 profess her faith publicly took the cake in the cool department! So happy for / proud of her! by @grit_over_quit

Being a Dad is the best. Getting to point these two toward Christ, coach their sports teams, experience the world through their eyes, and all the craziness in between is something I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Got away with the men of @banner.church this weekend. Was an awesome time of unplugging, getting out into nature, laying down things in order for us to move forward carrying the fire of God with us into our lives.

Thank you @joshuaweisbrod and @barrysapp for pouring into us this weekend. Thank you @stevelummer for coming out again this year and feeding us tacos. My fellow Men’s Team members thank you for the work that goes into making this trip a success each year. Thank you men of @banner.church for taking time out of your busy schedule to invest in community and growing in deeper relationship with Christ!
