A NEW ERA 🎀

GRLFACES is all about empowering women through makeup artistry.

Allow me to reintroduce myself: I’m Khiya Hassan, a full-time makeup artist originally from Philadelphia, now in the DMV to bring something fresh to the makeup industry. Makeup has always been my first love, but my passion deepened when I realized it goes beyond artistry.

Three years ago, I began my journey as a makeup artist, spending countless hours at my vanity practicing looks and trying products on myself. I never imagined those moments would lead me here. I discovered that my passion isn’t just about making another woman look beautiful; it’s about uplifting her self-esteem. I believe in pouring into the next girl so she can flourish into who she’s meant to be.

I want to personally thank all my clients, friends, and family for your unwavering support and belief in me. You’ve uplifted me in ways I never thought possible. I’m so excited to share this rebrand with you all, as I’ve put my heart and soul into it.
To any other GRLs reading this: remember, all things are possible when you wholeheartedly pursue your dreams. Put God in everything you do, and always stay grounded.

Xoxo, your favorite GRL.

Restocking my kit is always so fun! This year my focus was buying in bulk and investing in products I know I’ll actually use. Contrary to popular belief, Pro MUAs aren’t always buying new products we stick to our holy grails and add a few new finds to the rotation💕🤍

Thank you @raveabtray for trusting me on your special day 🤍💍 and inviting me to one of the best weddings I’ve attended! You know how you meet someone and understand why they are so blessed and deserving of all good things. That’s you, such a genuine kind woman. I can’t stop rewatching this vlog smiling or replaying this day in my head because it displayed so much love + happiness !! your wedding kicked off the summer wedding season perfectly. The fun lasted all night I couldn’t even add everything. My girl for life now! #getrichardsonordietrying
