How many times does a mother have to ask for help before someone listens?

Kali (Kayla Rae) is a queer, disabled mother of three, survivor, and community advocate who has spent years fighting to protect her daughters from abuse. After doing everything survivors are told to do—reporting, working with law enforcement, CPS, and legal advocates—she fled to protect her children when the system failed them.

Now, Kali sits in a Minnesota jail separated from her girls, who have been placed back in the care of the very person she was seeking protection from.

**Kali poured into her community. Now she needs us to stand with her.**

We are urgently raising **$30,000** to:

* Cover legal defense & post bail
* Keep a roof over her family’s head and cover basic necessities
* Work toward reuniting Kali with her daughters
