There’s music from @hotandcoldfeverband , treats from @hideandseek.london , pet tarot from @tarot.with.caroline and “Who’s a Chelsea Dog? Yes you are!” competition prizes from @sageandmaple.co.uk

And I’ll be “unveiling” new poochy portraits for @baileydoescoffee & @missdarcysadventures 😎 by @grohs

Tomorrow is pretty much me summed up musically:

14:00-16:00, @radioolio show @aajamusic - experimental, avant-a-clue outernational sounds

17:40-18:00, /pi:n/ in the Noise Shed @cosmiccarnagegigs Smash It Out all-dayer - SUSTAINED KAAA”””ZZZzzz”””””””OOOooOOO!!!!!! NOISE

21:00-01:00, Old School Acid, Breaks, Bass & Bleeps with @hersey.jpg after an all-dayer feat. @808stateofficial @thegrid789 @thefoxandfirkin

Weirdly, 20yrs ago I was also on the same bill as 808 State at Jacks, London Bridge for The Poke hosted by @jpowerjr - I may or may not have fallen asleep underneath the decks at that gig.

Graeme Ross mostly draws dogs he doesn’t know.

Dogs. Cats. Raves. Speakers. Moments. People and animals living in the moment.

He discovered this love of capturing being present in a moment of joy or deep emotion when reading a translated Japanese review of a jazz album.

He likes drawing these and can draw them for you.

Art by me.

Comment yay, for a feeling of joy. by @grohs

Hi. I’m seeing lots of posts from artists and creatives saying how well they’re doing and how amazing a market was, which is great and I’m more than happy to see artistic folks succeed in what’s a very, very tricky climate.

But the opposite is also very true and that’s fine too. It’s just that it’s rarely talked about and seeing everyone else’s “success” on social (not just the creative industry) - doesn’t half impact your mental health & wellbeing. So …

… here’s what I’ve sometimes sold at various markets over the years.

Zero zines.

No original art.

Zip posters.

This many badges.

Not sure what this is but it didn’t sell.

So you, heads up. Big love ❤️ by @grohs

A few months back I was working an event and there was a psychic fella there doing the rounds. He asked if he could do something with me.

He had no prior knowledge of who I was.

He asked me to think about someone who’d had a big impact on my life. He asked a few things about me, then wrote down a name.

There was clearly some sort of tomfoolery or quick distraction/writing going on when he asked me to tell him who I was thinking of because the pen ink used for the name is different to the rest … but still.
