17.06.25 A year ago we created a series with hugely talented artists @mrjonhopkins and @corto.alto to launch the Abbey Road Studios Mode in Polestar 3. This was a collaboration together with @abbeyroadstudios and @bowerswilkins. The artists were asked to create music or remixes to reach the ultimate audio experience based on the in-car audio presets (settings). To separate each preset in the series (Intimate, Energise, Expansive and Open) we divided the episodes into colour, going from interview backdrops to Polestar 3 animations. This also placed Polestar next to documentary footage of the artists’ creative process taking place at Abbey Road Studios’ legendary studio 2. 17.06.25 We joined Mille Miglia, ”the world’s most beautiful race”, with the complete model line-up and covered the thousand mile drive through Italy (Brescia-Bologna-Rome-Milan-Parma-🏁) Using pre-produced animated maps (and a retro feel inspired by the race) we wanted to give SoMe followers a chance to track our performance throughout the journey.
