⭐ We’re incredibly grateful to receive such a positive review in the latest issue of Blues in Britain.

Reviewer Russ Cottee came to see us at Ain’t Nothin’ But in Soho, and his comments recognised every member of Groove Rats.

🎤 Robin Nevill – praised for his vocals across a variety of blues styles, his harp playing, and for fronting the band with energy and personality.

🎸 Angelos Oikonomopulos – recognised as a “gifted guitarist”, with several of his solos singled out during the evening.

🎸 Alex Hermann – his bass playing was noted for providing a solid, driving foundation throughout the set.

🥁 Anya Fletcher – commended for keeping everything firmly in the pocket and maintaining the groove.

🎶 Together, we were delighted that the review described us as:

”…an entertaining outfit that can pace a long set and engage their audience.”

We’d like to thank Russ Cottee and everyone at Blues in Britain for taking the time to come along and review us, and of course a huge thank you to everyone who comes to our gigs and supports live blues music.

See you at the next one! taken in Ain't Nothin' But by @grooverats
