Yes, I took a picture of the @hardrocknewyork bathroom. What’s even funnier is that “Suit and Tie” was playing when I went in there. Talk about timing.

The Louis show was tucked into the middle of Bon Jovi’s run at MSG, so I got to see the shop at least. ❤️‍🔥

The @ministryofbrewing in Baltimore, Joe’s grandfather’s childhood church now converted into a brewery.

We also saw the street where Billie Holiday lived!

And we wrapped up the summer by seeing @boybandproject at @totempoleplayhouse the night before school started. What a fantastic show!!

I’m also rather proud of the fact that the guys asked Sophie and Annabelle if they actually knew any of the songs, and they responded “most of them!” #raisingthemright by @groovypq

It’s the first day of school.

Summer went too quickly.

It’s Sophie’s last first day at CCCS.

It’s Annabelle’s last first day as an elementary school kiddo.

I am sentimental (hence the comparison pic from Sophie’s first first day). 🥹

“I’m lost in time, I don’t care for the world outside

You can stay for the night in the palaces of my mind…” 🎶

Going to see @louist91 at @thegarden was the girls’ Christmas present, so we had months of anticipation built up, and believe me Louis did not disappoint. We decided to go to MSG over someplace closer in part because, come on, it’s Madison Square Garden and I am an absolute nerd for the history soaked into its walls (especially the boyband history). And we lucked into being a part of more history, because Louis SOLD OUT MSG solo!!!!

Our original seats were up in the nosebleeds, but in the front row, so we had a great view. And then we got upgraded!!! Right off the pit! (We actually ended up sitting next to the sister of the drummer from @pictureparlourband, one of the opening acts, on her first visit to the U.S. So cool!)

The show was everything we dreamed it would be. “Dark to Light” and “Night Changes” made me cry, of course, and we got to be the first crowd to hear “Side by Side” live. 🥹

Louis Tomlinson is a special artist. You can see how much he loves and appreciates his fans in every moment of the show. I am so, so glad we were there. 💛

In honor of @lauriehernandez’s last show in @andjulietbway today, I’m finally posting my pics from seeing the show Tuesday. 🥹🤩

Let me tell you that the stars do not usually align for me like this. We’d been planning the trip to New York to see Louis Tomlinson since December. And we picked MSG over DC in part because my geeky heart loved the idea of seeing him in the same venue as so many other faves have played (in fact, Bon Jovi was playing there as we were at &Juliet!)

AND THEN, just a monthish before our trip, it’s announced that @realjoeyfatone is going back to Broadway… and that yes, he’d be there when we were going to New York! And @chrissymetz is in it! AND Laurie?!?! Like what is my life?? So this turned our trip into the *NSYNC-1D crossover event of my boyband-loving dreams with some gymnastics geek to boot!

And we got amazing seats! And OF COURSE the show was amazing, fabulous, spectacular! So many songs from artists I love. It also cracks me up that Joey is playing a character named Lance and singing Backstreet Boys songs. 😂

So happy trails, Laurie, and thank you, THANK YOU to the entire cast for an incredible show!! 🩵🧡💖 taken in Stephen Sondheim Theatre by @groovypq

How did we get here?? 💛🧡🩵

Pulled off the crossover event of my boyband-loving dreams (with a dash of gymnastics geek to boot)! Tuesday: @realjoeyfatone and @lauriehernandez in @andjulietbway! Wednesday: @louist91 at a sold out Madison Square Garden!

I have more and better pics from both because we had amazing seats for both but I just wanted to commemorate it all together. I’m still just… amazed by all of it. 🥹

It’s the last day of 7th and 4th grade, and in keeping with the theme of the last few months, we took these pictures *after* school because I didn’t have my act together enough to have their boards ready for this morning. 🤦🏻‍♀️

As always, we are enormously grateful for our CCCS family, and particularly our teachers for their love, care, encouragement and grace. May we all have a restful and refreshing summer!
