Just the forever reminder to get outside and do what you love.

Motherhood challenges this more than anything I have ever encountered. The exhaustion of being needed truly makes it so difficult to get out & I am here to remind you whatever you loved to do before you were a mom/dad/parent/caregiver will make you feel alive again.

Grateful for climbing to help me get out of my head for a short bit after a particularly challenging and sad day at work the day before. by @groundingsource

Ophelia is 15 months old & Maeve is 3 +5 months old.

The first year of a child’s life is truly exhausting. Thank god kids do eventually sleep. (Hopefully I haven’t jinxed myself for tonight) I’m also grateful to be done breastfeeding. I realized when we stopped that I had been pregnant or breastfeeding for the last 4 years of my life. The last four years also being the years I went back to school and graduated with a second whole bachelors degree. Wild times. by @groundingsource

Another cool thing. Grateful to have finished and truly fought from mile 17-24 😂 The excitement of knowing these girls would be at the finish kept me running the last mile after miles of soggy feet, chafing legs, and nausea from eating onigiri at mile 19.

Sweet Maeve 3 years old & little Ophelia 2 weeks out from her first birthday.

Also- I always used to say the hardest part of running a marathon is training for one, which is still true but I would like to add being a parent after you and your spouse run one is truly brutal
