Last week our Dancing Together session explored the theme of jungle animals using toy animal props to stimulate movement ideas. Led by @mafe.toledo.dance and assisted by @miiamakila a fantastic playful time was had by all - here are a couple of regular attendees hard at play

Earlier this week the wonderful @youthmusic Energiser fund Groundswell Arts research team Jenn, Vanessa and Urussa gathered at Groundswell's office to try and make some sort of sense of all of the data from a second years of 11 fabulous organisations learning looking at how they work with early years children , families, communities and practitioners in terms of approaches to co-creation.

We are now dreaming in postits and there is such great work to share ! ... watch this space !

We were thrilled to be able to attend the book launch of the wonderful @rachnajoshi last Friday and looking forward to finding some time ( prob in the half-term) to dive in fully ! We were fortunate to meet Rachna through our work with Sing Our Story and Light Box working within her setting and knew we had to connect more and since then she has spoken to @youthmusic Energiser Fund participants on themes of cultural competence and identity and will join the programme as a mentor this year. Such a fantastic achievement congratulations Rachna! we are delighted to be in the same orbit as such a beautiful Haringey Early Years practitioner and author !

We are pleased to share this case-study based on a small pilot programme led by @booktrust and @brentcouncil we contributed to over the summer term. Our artist @emilystratfordmusic had the opportunity to explore co-leading sessions with children's author @ken_wilson_max and explore effective strategies for engaging under twos with a selection of specially selected books.

We are pleased to share this link to a case-study produced by @booktrust from a small pilot piece of work we collaborated on during the Summer where our wonderful artist @emilystratfordmusic collaborated with author @ken_wilson_max and partners at Willesden Green Library @brentcouncil to share a range of books to family audiences focused around 0-2 year olds using creative storytelling, music and play.
