Happy Indigenous Peoples Day 🌱

We spent some time reflecting on our ancestors and celebrating the indigenous ways of life by gathering around a fire to play this beautiful song called “Todos Vuelven” by César Miró.

This song is about the return to the womb of the earth, and the cycle of death and rebirth… our only promised fate.

Let’s see how we can continue to connect to our ancient wisdom as we walk the Good Red Road together. Blessings to all!

✨Somatic release✨

The root chakra can carry bound energy, especially for young men learning how to distribute their qi (Life Energy). It is important for men to receive physical affection, not only from their mother or spouse, but from other brothers. Sound vibration can serve that role in this context, bridging the gap between the body and the metaphysical.

I have been working with Alex in both behavior therapy and sound healing environments for many years, and we are able to communicate effectively around consent and sensation. He is comfortable with me, and very attuned to his own energy, which I believe enables him to relax deeper into his sessions.

Thank you for growing alongside me brotha 🐲

✨ Stepping away from private clients to spread some love in the LA area. I will most likely be doing this more often and would love to share more with you all! I don’t like taking video during soundbaths, as it interrupts the frequency of containment, but I’m pondering new ways to invite you all into my world of sound 🐉

I’ll post the full 20min video on my YouTube 🖤

Fun scale for you to try! 🍀 I love to remind people that it is not WHO is playing, but WHY we are playing. We don’t always have the resources, facilities or opportunity to play music, but music is everywhere. Find what grounds you, and wield it like a sword 🎶 by @groundthroughsound
