Nico photographed by Guy Webster, 1968.

“He had a fetish for red-haired shanties, you know, Irish shanties. I was so much in love with him that I made my hair red after awhile. I wanted to please his taste. It was silly, wasn’t it? Like a teenager” - Nico on Jim Morrison. by @groupiesoutrageously

Erin Everly and Axl Rose in 1990. The pair began dating in 1986, married in 1990 and annulled their marriage a year later. Everly is the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers.

"It was the first relationship I had – I felt like we were two people who didn't have much but who had found each other. I was looking for someone who wanted to get married, have a bunch of children and a station wagon." –Erin Everly by @groupiesoutrageously

Eddie Vedder and Beth Liebling in 1993, as posted by petiteclover on Tumblr. 💕

“I have a girlfriend, 9 years and 3 months yesterday, we’re walking out of the show last night… and there’s some people watching us go to the van and this one girl screams at Beth, she goes; ‘YOU BITCH!’ “

“Why’s that?”

“Why do you think?”

“Cause she’s with you.”

“I almost went over and just fucking tore her head off. I didn’t know, do I go over and react? Do I go over and hurt this person? Do I go over and give them a lecture? You know… what is going on here? So it’s… that’s a very uh… unreal situation that uh… both myself and Beth shouldn’t have to go through. We’re not the kind of people to uh… put ourselves in those situations and we’ve kind of been put into that situation.” — August 18, 1993. by @groupiesoutrageously

Ulla Andersson-Jones at the 9th Annual Grammy Awards in March 1967. Posted by brittsekland on Tumblr. 💞

Mini biography about Ulla shared years ago on our original blog:

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Ulla Andersson was discovered by modeling agent and owner of Ford Models, Eileen Ford, at age fifteen. She moved to Paris, France, where she received training and started working full time as a model, travelling all around the world and appearing in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and Glamour. She was good friends with fellow model and muse Agneta Frieberg.

In 1966, Andersson met music producer Quincy Jones at a party given in honour of Frank Sinatra. A year later, Andersson and Jones were married. She retired from a successful modeling career in order to raise their children, Martina Jones and Quincy Jones III. In the 2018 documentary Quincy, it is explained that Jones was dealing with many problems in his life (both professional and personal) and their marriage started to suffer. By the early seventies they were separated and Andersson returned with the children to her hometown of Sweden. Jones eventually started dating actress Peggy Lipton, and he and Andersson divorced in 1974 (after years separated) so that he could legally marry Lipton.

In the seventies, Andersson started working in theatre productions in Sweden. In 1976, she played Betty Sue in Wild Side Story. She released her debut album, uniquely titled No Time No Space No Age No Race That's Nifty!, in 1979. She then released a single in 1984, and has apparently quit singing since then. Her autobiography, titled Red Carpet Blues, was published in 2007. by @groupiesoutrageously
