@growcyclingfoundation Aspire at @crankworx was about more than filling a room; it was about creating opportunities. On Saturday, 150 people gathered at the @slccwhistler to listen, learn, and connect. Our speakers shared powerful perspectives on building authentic BIPOC partnerships and creating safe spaces in the outdoor industry from an LGBTQ+ lens. Networking prompts pushed conversations beyond comfort zones, laying the groundwork for real change. And the impact is already unfolding. This week, five local U18 athletes will ride the Whistler Mountain Bike Park alongside the SRAM team. Five Aspire participants have also been selected for one-on-one meetings with bike industry leaders, such as the CEO and Director of Sports Marketing from SRAM, Global Bike Marketing Manager from Smith Optics, Global Marketing Director from Santa Cruz Bicycles and Brand Manager from Shimano. These opportunities are opening doors to mentorship, collaboration, and growth. We’re excited to see where these new connections lead and proud to help foster authentic pathways into the industry.Thank you to our sponsors and to everyone who was in the room for making Aspire a success!
