Howdy! It’s been a wild few years for me. I’ve really not been posting a ton anymore and honestly haven’t even been taking as many pictures as I use to. I’ve been thinking for days of what picture to post just for this post lol. It’s wild! I’ve had a ton on my mind, heart, and plate for quite some time now… ive been dealing with a whole lot of “life” and it has honestly been a real struggle at times. But this isn’t a woe is me kind of post. It’s actually a really exciting post for me. As many of you know, God has been doing a lot lately! And personally he’s been doing a lot in me and through me and with this Growing Back To Eden ministry! It’s honestly been amazing! He has lined up bigger and better opportunities for me and ones that are closer to my brothers and sisters at my church! So I drive an 55 minutes one way to church twice a week. I’ve never felt at home more than I do at this church too. Actually I gotta watch myself because I can go on and on telling one God story after another when it comes to this whole topic…. So maybe we’ll save that for a video in my YouTube channel soon! Anyways, the church I go to has what’s called a Uturn for Christ program. It’s amazing! We take in recovering addicts and alcoholics etc and build them back up and they stay at the church to get back up on their feet over a 8-9 month period. Seeing them each week and watching them grow in their relationship with the Lord and grow stronger as they get clean and get back on their feet has been incredible. The physical, mental, and spiritual growth in them is honestly so encouraging to see and especially in today’s society. I started a small garden at the church for them to tend and grow some food for themselves and they all loved it! It was fun getting to hear their excitement for it as things grew and as they got to pick and eat the fruits of their labor haha. Well anyways, like I said God has been doing a lot! I’m moving to Crystal River, Florida soon and starting a whole new farm over from scratch! This new farm will be incredible and I’m beyond excited about it. Thanks to IG… and me always typing a ton. As we wrap up another Farm-to-Table dinner season here at Growing Back To Eden, I just want to say thank you. The past three dinners have been nothing short of incredible. We’ve shared amazing meals, watched beautiful sunsets over the farm, met so many wonderful people, and built a community around good food and meaningful conversation. Seeing everyone gathered around the table reminds me why we do what we do. To every guest who joined us—thank you for your support and for allowing us to share our farm with you. To our incredible volunteer servers and talented chefs, thank you for your countless hours of hard work, your servant hearts, and the passion you brought to every evening. None of this would be possible without you. These dinners are so much more than a meal. They help support Growing Back To Eden by allowing us to continue growing organic food, caring for the land, offering educational opportunities, and carrying forward the work of our farm and ministry. Every ticket purchased helps make that possible. With that said, I’m excited to announce that tickets for our Fall and Spring Farm-to-Table Dinner Series are now available! If you’ve been thinking about joining us for an evening on the farm, I’d encourage you to reserve your seats soon. Seating is intentionally limited, and these dinners have been selling out. Farmer by day… apparently bow tie model by night. 😂 If you’ve been following Growing Back To Eden for a while, you know I’m usually covered in dirt, sweat, compost, or some combination of all three. Every once in a while though for our Farm To Table dinner event, the farm cleans up a little extra nice — and apparently so do I. It’s crazy looking back at everything that’s happened here since I started this place. What began as a blank piece of ground has slowly turned into a farm, a market, a gathering place, and a community of people who continue to show up and support what I’m building. There’s a lot coming this season — Saturday markets, farm-to-table dinners, events, workshops, and plenty more growing in the garden. I’m grateful for every person who has followed along, visited the farm, bought some vegetables, attended an event, shared a post, or simply told somebody about what we’re doing. Howdy! I’m Farmer Nick with Growing Back To Eden Farm here in Crystal River, Florida! 🌱 I’ve traveled the country farming and teaching regenerative agriculture since 2015, consulting on everything from backyard gardens to a 20,000-acre off-grid ranch in the mountains of Montana that I eventually became the manager of. In April 2024, I started a new chapter here in Citrus County. When I arrived, this little 5-acre property was basically a blank canvas of grass. Today, you can see just how much blood, sweat, and tears I’ve poured into transforming this little chunk of creation! 🌱 Growing Back To Eden is beyond organic. I use regenerative farming methods that work to improve the soil and land year after year. The longer I farm here, the healthier I want this land—and the food it produces—to become! 🥕 The farm is open every Saturday from 9AM–1PM! During produce season, everything is picked fresh that morning or even picked to order right in front of you. It really doesn’t get much fresher than that! Fall seeds are officially started, and fresh produce should begin coming in around October! The farm is also much more than vegetables. Our Farm-to-Table Dinners, Pick • Paint • Pour nights, classes, workshops, markets, and other events help support the farm and allow me to keep creating a place for our community to gather and enjoy. 🙏 Growing Back To Eden is also my ministry. I believe God put us in a garden in the beginning for a reason. His creation tells His story and displays His power and glory. Welp! I got me some donkeys for the sheep! These two girls are both so sweet! Mom and daughter guardian team! I haven’t event gotten them all the way back to the farm yet and I’m already feeling better about the situation with the sheep being under so much attack. These girls will help a lot even with just their presence on the property! The coyotes don’t stand a chance between these two and shadow my dog. #donkey #gaurdians #farmlife by @growingbacktoeden
