Hi friends! We are officially 7 hours into 24hrs of giving with #CLLCTIVGIVE. Please consider donating any amount and challenging 5 friends to do the same to help get us to our goal of $15k by 11:59pm TODAY!Curious about how we will use the funds: 🌸$100 will support year round mental health care packages for girls curated by @homegrownthecollective led by a founding mentee who is now a junior at Clark Atlanta. 🌸$250 provides a stipend for a girl to purchase professional attire. 🌸$1,000 will cover the cost of guest speakers and workshop materials for our Ready to Work initiative.🌸$2,500 allows us to have take girls on adventures in and outside Baltimore City to explore colleges and universities, experience the Kennedy Center and practice proper etiquette over a three course meal…all without the stress of figuring out how to pay for it. 🌸$5,000 allows us to partner with more schools which in turn allows us to nurture more girls through mentorship, college and career exploration and exposure to life beyond their comfort zone.Our girls deserve it. June🫶🏽 This month Azuri graduated kindergarten, danced her little heart out at her spring recital, and reminded me again and again how quickly time moves when you are watching your babies grow. The kids got to run around at my elementary school reunion and I got to catch up with adults I taught in high school. So much can happen in 30 days. by @growinglovehere
