I really can’t believe I have a three year old. Looking through my photos I realized I never got the chance to post the set up from his first birthday so here you go, a major throw back to Gavrielle’s first birthday. From a memory just about 7 years ago. I look back and think wow 2019 seems like a life time ago, and in all honesty it was. Back then it was overexposed lighting, pops of color, and floral everything, fads might have changed but what stands true is my love for fashion. My life may look different now but what stayed true was my passion for fashion. by @growingupleah

Curious Gavrielle’s Second Birthday
From creating my own personalized invitation, favor boxes, bouncy house and all, each and every detail was unforgettable. I wanted to create a memorable event not only practical for his age, but to remind him how truly loved he is by all his friends and family.
Keeping a budget in mind here is how created this special event. NO GATE KEEPING HERE! 🥰

🐒Table and chairs @bbtentandparty
🐒Bouncy house @playsmol @target has a current coupon (25% Off a kids book or toy) and I had a few extra gift cards saved up (this is also a great alternative for in-house play dates over the winter)
🐒 Poster @walgreens little tip, you can print a poster at Walgreens and back it behind a dollar tree posterboard shouldn’t cost more than $15 all together (Walgreens always has promo codes that you can search up online to get additional discounts I used code PRINTALL & FALL20)
🐒 Personalized icon, invitation, and party favors are all thanks to @canva created a personalized invitation that I was done able to reuse for the whole event. From water bottle covers, favor boxes, and of course the poster, canva allows you to manipulate to almost any size (as long as pay for the premium account) has endless possibilities.
🐒 Favor boxes and activity packets, are both from Amazon. I find that having a small activity at the table helps with keeping children occupied as well as entertained while the adults are making plates or small conversation. (if you look hard enough on Amazon, there are sellers that sell these small packets for almost any party theme).

The story behind this beautiful dress; about two years ago I planned for a beautiful maternity shoot, and unfortunately never got a chance to wear this dress due to some pregnancy complications, so it just hung in my closet collecting dust until yesterday. Now two years later, from a growing belly to a growing toddler I finally feel that this dress has fulfilled its duties. I know to many it may seem weird but yes you can have an emotional connection to a dress and now IYH it will continue to serve a purpose and see many simchot. As your child grows repurpose what you already have, as my son transitions from a baby to a toddler I thought the most perfect way to readjust would be to turn my postpartum cart in to our craft cart. This way all of his favorite supplies are in one area. My son loves these sensory kits from @youngwildandfriedman and enjoys to color and paint so I knew having them on this cart will make it easy enough for me to roll in and out of my dining room and lock up at the end of the day so he cannot reach it without supervision.
