from our first meeting in feburary 2025 to now, it’s time to say goodbye to Student Filmmakers Association as President 🎬⋆‧°𓏲ּ𝄢 Being a freshman studying cinematic arts, I shit my pants at the idea of studying film. It’s a rocky field as is, and I was craving a community and support that I was honestly too impatient to find. after many meetings, lots of forms, and an amazing team from the start, Student Filmmakers Association was born And since then, we’ve created a loyal community of filmmakers, photographers, writers, artists, or just anyone interested. We’ve made 3 movies, many memories, and so so so many friends. And I’m so proud I was able to lead this club with my fellow officers and meet so many amazing people Now that I’m entering my junior year at Flagler, I’m entering a new creative chapter that I’m so excited about, but also so scared. I trust that SFA can continue to thrive, especially under the new leadership of @rylanthefish24 💙 Thank you for trusting me in creating this community and I can’t wait to see how it will continue. Trust I will still be at those meetings and cheer you on by @growingvenus
