My grandma told me at 83:
“I can’t meditate.”

Turning 28 and realising friendship is the one thing I’ve never questioned - but adulthood is making me relearn it anyway.
New cities, new jobs, marriages, life just moves. And I always thought I’d have the same people through all of it. Maybe I won’t every day. And I’m learning to be okay with that.

The most confident person in the room gets listened to, even when they’re wrong.
So we learned to perform certainty. Even when we had no business being certain.
This has me thinking about information and misinformation spread by the algorithm.
People who question themselves are the ones who actually evolve. You can’t grow inside a belief you’ve never challenged. Critical thinking is the most important 21st C literacy skill.
That’s not weakness. That’s the work.
Certainty is easy. Curiosity takes courage. 💭

How much of your life is guided by fear… and how much by desire?

I saw Kevin Lee’s exhibit this week and felt an immediate connection to his practice-UX design, journaling, and documenting the small moments of life.

Seeing his accordion diary “100 Years of Hope” made me think about the quiet power of recording our lives and our dreams.

Some experiences feel like pure serendipity.
This was one of them.

Some experiences change the way we see everything — long before we even notice 🌍

For me, it was:
1️⃣ Working with kids (behavior = communication, and adults are still learning too)
2️⃣ Studying media & tech (algorithms make you rethink the internet)
3️⃣ Living between cultures (‘normal’ is often just cultural habit)
