Papilillaminum Xone

I’m desperate need of a repot, but she’s doing great, recently bore fruit with my Carla WU1 S1 #1 being the pollen donor! These are growing great already, I’m excited for them to grow and develop their own characteristics

A very exciting Rooted on the Peaks update!

I’ve partnered with @grownbymarcus to bring Pollen Freezer Organizers to the UK!

If you’re in the UK, you can now pre-order through Marcus’s website. I’ll still be making the organizers here like always, but they’ll be shipped in bulk to Marcus so he can get them out to UK customers from there.

This has been in the works for a bit, and I’m really excited it’s finally happening. Huge thanks to Marcus for helping make this possible!

Pre-orders are open now at grownbymarcus.co.uk

P.S. Marcus also makes some amazing plant care accessories of his own that are also available on his site, I strongly suggest you take a look at his whole catalog :) by @grownbymarcus

Incredible new leaf coming in on my favourite Carla (WU1 S1 #1)

It’s so good to be seeing emergents coming out now unscathed. Been battling thrips in the tent for a while, I’d been too reliant on beneficials that just weren’t cutting it.

Stumped a lot of plants in the tent and just generally heavily pruned everything. I think it was 5 leaves I cut off this Carla alone! I stumped 3 others!😅

It was hard seeing them in such a way and having to go through and chop so much off but knowing it was for the better in the long run.

Anthurium DocBlock Giannina (Crystallinum ‘8’ x Michelle ‘11’) by @therealdocblock

I won this plant as a small seedling mid March this year from @terrabotanical and she’s grown incredibly well since then, this is around her 3rd cataphyll leaf so hoping she’ll start to flower soon for me as I can’t wait to start breeding with her.

It’s incredible how much she’s levelled up since she first arrived!

1️⃣ Early emergent directly under grow light
2️⃣ exactly the same but not directly under grow light
3️⃣ Same emergent 2 days later
4️⃣ The most recent leaf before this fully hardened
5️⃣ Whole plant overview
6️⃣ 19th March when she arrived

Anthurium ‘Bay Area BVEP’ S1
This was the first BVEP in my collection and boy is it a good one!
Lovely cherry red emergents and I love the sinus and the veins coming off of it.

This newest leaf also just brought cataphyll! I’m looking forward to being able to use her in my breeding projects! I’d love to put this onto my Carla WU1 S1

Anthurium Carlablackiae WU1 S1 #1

Although I have 2 of the same clone, this exact one was the first Carla to enter my collection and the one that kicked off my Carla craze.

There’s just something extra special about a nice Carla

I’m excited to finally be able to start breeding both of these as I have a few real nice crosses I’ve been waiting to do!

Anthurium Papilillaminum Xone

My current favourite pap in my collection. The emergents come out deep black, and expand into the colour you can see in the 2nd pic.

She took her time to flower for me, but is now giving her first and 2nd inflo at the same time!

I also love the wavy lobes she gets which can be seen best on the 2nd to last picture!
