🌱A Resource To Help Children Grow In Their Faith

POSTS STORIES REELS

This time last week, I had the most amazing time celebrating World Book Day! 📚 I got to share my book, Big Prayers for Little People, and talk about the many ways we can pray.

The younger children drew their prayers, while the older ones wrote their own heartfelt words. One child even wrote a prayer for me, which was so sweet! ❤️

I’m so grateful to all the wonderful students and staff for their warm welcome. And just a little reminder for your little ones today, no prayer is too big or too small for God!

Meet The Author: Monique Brooks

Monique Brooks (@mostar5) is the founder of “Grow Project 21” and the Author of “Big Prayers For Little People”

This book has been inspired by quality yet fun prayer times and teaching of the Bible with my husband (@mattjabrooks) and son Zion. I feel this time of sharing and connecting with God is so important for every family.

My husband Matthew and I got into the habit of praying with our son Zion from the moment he was born. I dedicate this book to Zion, who is full of life, has a great sense of adventure, full of smiles, loves Bible stories and prayer time.

How are you feeling about the kids going back to school? by @growproject21

There’s something special about teaching children to pray.

Reflect on this moment and how special it was to be able to sit with the children in school and read my prayer book.

With the kids getting ready to start a new school year, it’s also been a reminder to me of how important it is that we teach our children to pray and to know that they can always turn to God.

We may not always see the impact of the seeds we plant, but I pray these prayers stay with them, grow with them, and become part of who they are. 🌱🙏🏾

Nothing melts my heart more than seeing little ones growing in faith. A sweet mama sent me this video of her children reading Big Prayers for Little People before bed. Reminding them that prayer isn’t just for grown ups, it’s a gift for every age.🙏🏾💕

Going back to school can feel overwhelming for our little ones. The nerves, new routines, and big emotions are all real but God’s Word reminds us they are never alone.

Here are 5 encouraging scriptures to speak over your children when the school days feel hard:

1️⃣ Deuteronomy 31:6 – God is with you, always.
2️⃣ Philippians 4:13 – You can do all things through Christ.
3️⃣ Psalm 56:3 – When you’re afraid, trust in Him.
4️⃣ Matthew 28:20 – Jesus is with you everywhere.
5️⃣ Jeremiah 29:11 – God has good plans for your life.
