My sweet Bennie boy. On August 1st you turned 3 months!
At your two month checkup you were 97th percentile! I already had to clean out your closet since you’ve outgrown all of your newborn-6month old clothes 🥺. You are always at least three weeks early for all the baby “milestones”. Last month you started silently smiling at things you find funny but this month you gave us your first big loud baby giggle. It’s still only here and there… and it is only summoned when dad monster attacks your tummy 🤪. You started babbling back and forth with us and holding quite a stimulating conversation 😆. Your new favorite trick is blowing bubbles. We no longer swaddle you. I don’t even remember when the last time was 🥲. At the beginning of the month you learned to hit and grab your dangling ball and shaker in your activity center and now by the end of the month you’re already finding it boring in there. This month you found a huge interest in plants indoor and outdoor you love to study them closely. You keep standing up in our laps when we try to hold you even though it’s supposedly bad for your hips, bad Benito! 😂You started drooling and biting everything so we know what that means 👀. You’ve really found your voice…if you decide to cry in the store everyone in the building will hear you it’s impressively projective. I learned you’re not as much of a fan of the thrift store as I had hoped you’d be 😅. You experienced your first Fourth of July fireworks, train ride, piñata at dads birthday party. Your Granny drove down from California and your cousin Casey came down from Oklahoma and helped take care of you for most of July ♥️. It’s been near 100 degrees almost every day this month here in Texas so I can’t wait for it to cool down a bit so we can adventure outside more. I wonder what new things are in store for us next month 🥰 taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @growtoo

Our little guy saw fireworks for the first time a few days ago ♥️🤍💙. He was locked in on them. Although this was a big one he’s only two months old… and since we hadn’t got out of the house all that much our first month there’s so many things he’s seeing… for the very first time. A tall building, a bull, a bicycle, as well as the most ordinary “everyday” thing you can imagine he’s in awe and it’s so sweet to see it ✨ taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @growtoo
