Most budgets fail because they are too complicated. The 50/30/20 rule shrinks yours to three numbers: 50% to needs, 30% to wants, 20% to savings and debt. On $1,000 that is $500, $300, and $200. Multiply your last paycheck, set one automatic transfer for the 20%, and your budget is running. For education only, not financial advice.
