This one was a tough one to post. I even feel like a hypocrite. But this is me, this is my past. This is my story. As I sat away from God for a few days, scared, ashamed, afraid of what to come, God still showed up for me. He still held my hand. He still forgave me. He knows my battles. I realized I am weak without him. I can’t do anything without God. There was a time in my life where I didn’t love myself. I didn’t even feel comfortable in my own body. After a while, something shifted. I felt I had this sense of self love and I admired myself and I started to love myself and my body (or so I thought) which led me to make videos like this one. At the moment, I felt great.. powerful, unstoppable. But, getting closer to God I realized that I was doing the opposite of what He wanted for me. I’ve changed so much because of Gods grace. He saved me. Now, I’m more conservative. I even cover my head when I pray to him. What a change!! Obviously there is more to this story and as time goes by I will share more of it.. but for now, I’m grateful to say that because God has redeemed me, I TRULY love myself and my body. I am grateful that God is using me to heal others who are in the same position I was in years ago.
