Mani gave me the shirt off his back after he played D.C. with @primalscreamofficial May 26, 2000. That was to this day hands down the BEST LIVE SHOW I have ever seen. Afterward he ordered the security guard to let everyone backstage and yelled “WE’RE GONNA GET DRUNK!!!”. We hung out for hours and he was the f-ing coolest and sweetest dude in the world. R.I.P. Legend. And R.I.P. Throb and Duffy by @grubbalski

Recently brought our old boy to a work event. Was worried but he did so well. To the point where I even relaxed a bit. The cheeseburgers and carne frita helped. This is when he was telling me he was done. I love the adorable little girl looking on in curiosity. The littlest things are victories. It was an awesome day. #profoundautism by @grubbalski

Jack and Maria’s heads and Maria’s arm make a heart in this picture. Life is hard, but I am a very fortunate man. I have an amazing partner and son. A very smart dude told me this morning he didn’t think our Constitution could survive the Internet. Later an old and dear friend told me “we’re fucked.” Ultimately if our institutions fail, who will protect Jack? This is what keeps me awake at night. Anyway there it is. I made a vow not to post an opinion on social media 6 years ago, but here it is: Liberal democracy is a good thing. by @grubbalski
