Me realizing I made this account to share my zines and haven’t posted a single one 🙃

This was one I made with procreate last year to get people interested in the art of self publishing. And now you can read it for free :) since the point of zines is accessibility and sharing information. Feel free to message me and I’ll send you the template so you can start creating too! taken in New Smyrna Beach, Florida by @grumpyzines

Totally forgot about this account but I have not forgot about my sketchbook! These are some of my recent spreads, I promised myself I’d experiment more with color and different mediums and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it 🫣♥️ by @grumpyzines

In honor of finishing a sketchbook in under a year, these are some of my favorite spreads from that sketchbook. I really tried to experiment more with using color and materials. And drawing more from life when I have the opportunity.

And if you even care 🙄 please see the page descriptions below ♥️

1. Did this spread at work on a slow day and the left page I actually made into a print 😛 right I just put all the leftover watercolor I had and then doodled on top with a brush pen.

2. Left is some sketches inspired from a book of ornamental designs from the 1800-1900s, right are sketches from my camera roll of my first cruise including a drunk selfie.

3. Left is some quick figure studies from Pinterest, right is some Pinterest references doodles mixed w my own.

4. I had to draw something from the movie Sinners because it was so good I needed to memorialize it in my sketchbook. The right was a silly box pen sketch centered around a reference from @earthsworld

5. Ink portrait (Pinterest reference) and color pencil illustration of a sexy sword chick. Love her. Also made into a print.

6. Sketch of the pool at my grandparents house.

7. Blue box pen sketch of a brownstone (also a print), and right is small doodles from my recent camera roll.

8. Left is another Pinterest portrait in graphite. Right I sketched household objects in ink.

9. Watercolor doodles inspired by @littletinyegg

10. Very rough, timed figure studies from lineofaction, I believe these were 1 minute?

11. Lots of doodles. Left based on reference and right was not. The shark makes me laugh bc it’s so bad

12. Colored felt-tip pen portrait from Pinterest of an old sailor, and some botanical designs that I loved. by @grumpyzines
