Long distance reunions never looked so good. 🧚🏼‍♀️

Okay fine, it really is paradise over here and the COLOURS!!! 🌺🌊🥥🐚🦀🌴

There’s lots to explore in Savai’i but dang I could’ve stayed here all day. We can rent a moped here even and boost around the island for $80 tala 🇼🇸🌴

Definitely an unreal pinch yourself location.

And yes, there was a ladder to go again and again and again! 🪜

🌯 - SUPER fresh ingredients and crunchy which I am very grateful for as a Kiwi abroad…Subway craving satisfied. I got the chicken and genuinely really rated it!

☕️ - ICED Vietnamese coffee ACTUAL SLAPS 🧊

🕺 - service was timely and FRIENDLY…sometimes hard to find here lol

If you come visit Samoa, I would definitely add this to the spots to check out and it’s conveniently across from Myna’s, the ATM’s etc.

Be an actual friend ✨🧚‍♀️

In Samoa 🇼🇸 something I’ve found a culture shock (in comparison to New Zealand) is the drama llama among ‘friends’🦙, and the rarity of sisterhoods without gossip (🥲❤️‍🩹). It is as if gossip is the real currency to buy entertainment rather than just doing things for fun together as girls. ✨😭

It is pretty grim and disheartening to see of my people, so gifted at hospitality and manaaki of family, to not extend unconditional parameters of care/duty/love to their friends.🌺 But then again, the ultimate bosses of gossip in families are groups of aunties with their sunflower seeds 🤣.

I for one, am not keen to be a part of the equation or normalisation of this gossip currency and would gladly be BROKE.

💛 sending love to gf’s who have experienced betrayed trust and friendship hurt. I pray you learn to love and trust again - and most of all - not repeat the cycle x
