It’s Simplynailogical’s birthday today and for once I was part of her birthday collab!! I’ve been part of the Simply community since Valentine’s Day, 2023 and I love the community she has created in her corner of the internet. I chose to use 5/6 birthday nail polishes that she has released in a fun skittle mani. From thumb to pinky, the shade names are:

Got Cake?
Cool Cat Mom
Birthday Brat
Simply Deceased
Existential Crisis

Happy birthday @simplynailogical !!!!

Half n half nail art inspired by @suziemoon626 but instead of using just the colors that she used, I chose 4 additional ones because I can’t help myself.

Fourth picture is a holo combo with Shady Navy as the base, topped with Freezer Burn, and Flakie Holo Taco because I want to layer my toppers more by @gryffindorgabby21

It is time for another #cyoholotaco2 collab post! I actually goofed. Last time we did this round, I submitted this mani but posted the wrong mani. So now I’m posting this mani after submitting the other mani. Doesn’t matter. For this round of the Create Your Own Holo Taco collab, I am showcasing a Rainbow Flakie collection featuring Red Flake Taco, Gold Flake Taco, Wreath Havoc Taco, Sonic Unicorn Skin, and Purple Flake Taco all over One Coat Black.

Cats. For no reason other than they’re cute 🥰 by @gryffindorgabby21

Round 27 of the Rainbow Connection Collab and for this round, I was assigned Team Red. When I first received my color assignment back in July, I thought it was hilarious that I got red of all colors because I was sunburnt to a crisp after spending a long weekend in Oscoda Michigan.

Then my dad passed away unexpectedly and I thought about dropping out of the round because I couldn’t function without him. But then life was life-ing for everyone this round so the hosts decided to extend the deadline. So I asked if I could join back in with my color and did a manicure using Ruby, Madly, Deeply by Holo Taco. It’s a polish inspired by July’s birthstone of ruby, which is my dad’s birthstone and he passed during his birth month. It seemed only fitting that I used that polish. And I used a nail vinyl with Gosh Garnet

Here’s a new collab: the Create Your Own Holo Taco Collection using ANY Holo Taco nail polish to create your very own collection that doesn’t exist! I have so many ideas for this but I chose a Harry Potter look for this round. Hopefully we do more because I want to showcase all of my ideas!!!

Who wants to play UNO? But more specifically, Harry Potter UNO? Presenting my submission for the #htjackpotsweepstakes that one of my favorite nail polish brands, @holotaco is currently running!

If you’ve never heard of Harry Potter UNO, it’s basically the same thing as regular UNO but with one exception: the Sorting Hat Wild Card. It has the same function as a regular Wild Card but with a small twist. The person who played the Sorting Hat card gets to pick one other person who has to draw until they get a Gryffindor student (aka a card that’s numbered 1-4)!

If I won the giveaway, the first thing I would add to my cart would definitely be the Coastal Crèmes collection and maybe I’d get the remaining 3 Unicorn Skins (iridescent flake toppers) that I don’t have yet!!

*Peep my kitty, Dorian, at the end “playing” UNO with me. I think he’s cheating even though he only has one card left 🤭) by @gryffindorgabby21

#rainbowconnectioncollab #RCCRound26 my color assignment this round was Team Orange!! And it just so happens to be my last color that I needed to complete my first lap around the rainbow!! I might make a second post about it on a later date. I can’t wait for the next round and to start my next lap around the rainbow!!

(Also my nail design unintentionally looks like octopus tentacles)

5 years ago today, I graduated from Powers Catholic High School. What a year to be alive and to graduate high school, right in the middle of a global pandemic. But other than that, my senior year was my favorite year; not because I was graduating, but because I loved my classes, my teachers, and my friends. If anything, I thought that that year went by too fast and I wasn’t ready to leave.

Sometimes, life gets to be too much for me and I wish I could go back to school. I had a consistent schedule, I saw my friends every day, I liked all of my teachers, I liked most of my classes (except math. Always hated it). I liked the extra curricular activities I did after school. And if you told me, as a senior, that I was going to be a daycare teacher five years after graduation, I would’ve laughed and called you crazy.

But I’m glad that I went to Powers for high school; it shaped me into the person that I am today 💙🧡 by @gryffindorgabby21

This month I was assigned to Team Magenta for the #RainbowConnectionCollab and I took inspiration from Simply! In one of her old videos, she did a mani of Magenta Jelly topped with Aurora Unicorn Skin. I loved it so I did that combo on my nails too except I did 2 coats of the iridescent topper whereas I think Simply only did one. Oh. And she used Flakie Holo Taco too which I also used. As always, I had lots of fun with this collab and I can’t wait to be assigned to Team Orange as that is my last color before I finish my first lap around the rainbow!!
