If you were a Greek kid growing up in the 80’s or 90’s, the Odyssey (and the Iliad) were mandatory. Over a year ago when I heard that Hollywood was making a big budget Odyssey movie, I knew that I needed to watch it. We had some family stuff which made watching it on premier day impossible, but last night I was finally able to go. The Lux seating at Epic theaters was nice, and the massage was well needed after the last week! I was really impressed with how the movie was made, and it mostly stayed true to the story that I know and love. Yes there were some changes that I wasn’t a huge fan of, but the story being shown to the masses is definitely a good thing. I do highly recommend watching it…and I also highly recommend these Bred 4 Reimagined sneakers!Sometimes reimagining a classic isn’t all that bad! #reimagined #nike #jumpman23 #odyssey #sneakerhead by @gsneekerz

I might be in the minority here, and I definitely love the reimagined line, but THIS is the first one in the line that is actually substantially better than the original. That’s what makes me sad about these. They probably won’t ever retro like this again. These are so much more durable than the nubuk or durabuk or whatever it’s called on the originals. Also the new SB like shape makes these super comfortable. Last day in Tarpon Springs visiting Greektown. Loved every minute of it! Spoke with so many people from Kalymnos and Athens (and most assumed I was a native speaker ☺️) which is really cool as those cover my mom’s side and my dad’s side of the family! Sharing it with my daughter was even cooler! 🇬🇷 ♥️ Τελευταία μέρα στο Tarpon Springs, επισκεπτόμενοι το Greektown. Απόλαυσα κάθε λεπτό! Μίλησα με τόσους πολλούς ανθρώπους από την Κάλυμνο και την Αθήνα (και οι περισσότεροι υπέθεσαν ότι είμαι φυσικός ομιλητής ☺️), που είναι πραγματικά υπέροχο, γιατί καλύπτουν την πλευρά της μαμάς μου και την πλευρά του μπαμπά μου στην οικογένεια! Love exploring Tarpon Springs with my daughter as she grows more and more curious about her Greek heritage. My grandmother came here from Kalymnos when she was young, and my great grandparents are buried here. My great grandfather owned a sponge depot in downtown Tarpon Springs many years ago.
