Land, Labor & Liberation: Indigenous Sovereignty and the General Strike

We sat down with Indigenous organizer Browngirlpride for a political education conversation on Indigenous Peoples Day, sovereignty, Land Back, land, labor, solidarity and collective liberation.

We also connect these struggles to GSUS’s work around survival programs, food sovereignty, political education, community infrastructure and building toward a revolutionary general strike.

“We’re not outnumbered. We’re just unorganized.” - Malcolm X

Across our communities, people are already building. What’s missing is the intentional coordination and shared goal of moving toward collective withdrawal from the systems that exploit us.

Let’s organize our skills, resources, programs and struggles and connect them across communities.

Together, we build the conditions for a revolutionary General Strike.

If your group is interested in collaborating, email us today. There are multiple tangible ways we can support each other’s efforts while working together to materialize this General Strike initiative.
