@koshaarestaurant is bringing authentic Indian flavors to Toronto! They recently opened a few months ago and located in the Humber Bay Area. They have a full bar and cheetah on draft. For our meal these are some of the items we tried

Malala Shrimp 🦐 was delicious and tasted like nothing we tried. Perfect grill in the clay oven and plated with a refreshing salad

Chicken 65 🐓 A southern Indian fried chicken. It’s a little spicy, sour and tangy

Butter Chicken 🧈 🍗 the sauce was more on the sweeter side but still very delicious.

Lamb Korma 🐑 delicious soft lamb slow cooked for hours in a creamy onion and tomato gravy

Bhindi Masala (Okra) - a must try if you are a fan of okra. Cooked in a delicious sauce with onion, tomatoes and spices

We tried a few of their breads and the garlic naan and keema naan were so good! The smell of butter and garlic and the keema is stuffed with minced lamb. 🫓

Ended with a house made coconut infused Kheer which is a sweeten rice pudding with cardamom and coconut 🥥 🌾

Amazing OG Philly Cheesesteak from @phillyinthe6 inspired by the number 1 nationally voted Philly cheesesteak shop “Jon's roast pork” recipe

The cheesesteak was amazing with the works. The cheese sauce just brings the entire sandwich together and the vienna sesame bread is strong enough to hold it all together.

Philly in the Six is a pop up operating at 1516 Dundas St W for 3 months! They have the OG Philly, Mr Mac and Cheesesteak, “All Day” Breakfast Cheesesteak and OG Philly Fries too!

The owner went from tasting all the different Philly sandwiches in T.O to haunting down the best bread for the sandwiches, to perfecting their recipe. It’s a must try!

They used fresh never frozen chicken that is freshly battered and breaded then cooked to order. They have a promotion now to save 15% at this location with code “DOWNTOWN15”

Texas Tequila Wings Meal with Lemon Wedges
Honey Hot Wings Meals with Coleslaw
Chicken Fingers with Cajun Onion Rings

The chicken fingers tasted really good and the Cajun Onion Rings was bomb. The Texas tequila wasn’t too spicy and tasted like a bold bbq flavour. If you like spicy I’d recommend to try the higher heat flavours. The Thai sauce is also a must try. It got a bit of sweet and spicy kick to it.

When we saw the fresh stroopwafel at @dutchdreams , we HAD to stop by 🤭🧇

It was pretty generously sized and honestly the perfect little afternoon treat. Warm, sweet, and so satisfying!

🍗✨ TKF + Korean fried chicken = the perfect combo!

Finally made it to the Toronto Korean Festival 🇰🇷 and stopped by @bbqchicken_ca @bbqchicken_cummer for some crispy Korean fried chicken! 🍗🤤

The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and I even got to take home some cute merch 🎁❤️ Definitely a must-stop if you’re at TKF this weekend!

Hidden ice cream spot alert 🍦👀

Came to check out this tucked-away ice cream shop hidden in a factory area, and when I saw they had durian ice cream, I knew I had to try it!

To my surprise, the durian flavour actually tastes like REAL durian 🤯💛 It’s so rare to find durian-flavoured desserts that actually capture that authentic durian taste, but this one really did it!

The taro was also a winner — a generous layer of taro purée on top with different types of boba for some extra texture. 💜🧋

Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you’re a durian or taro lover!
