Authors of the Estate has just been nominated for Best Short Documentary at @griersontrust.

We made this film for the love of it. The love of our community and the love of the craft. No one commissioned or briefed us to make it, we just have raw passion. So it’s always a gift to see how many places this passion resonates.

We are the Authors of our Estate.

We’re still trying to process it. Last Sunday, 400+ of us came to Leister Square to witness a movie that shows us in our truest light.

Authors of the Estate, a creative journey that began 10 years ago in NW London, made its way onto one of the most prestigious cinema screens in the world. And we did it all without waiting for permission. From making the book, to premiering our movie, it was all us. Friends, family, comrades, next door neighbours.

The community we have gained / regained through this movement has truly been a best gift of all.

Raphs… Chalkhill… we really did that.

And imagine, there’s so much more story to be told…
