Today marks 3 whole years of ownership of my absolutely stunning GTI 🥹❤️🚗 I honestly can’t put into words just how much this car means to me, but I’m sure so many car people will completely understand that feeling!! He’s so much more than just a car to me — he’s my safe space, my happy place, and somewhere I can escape and just be myself. 🥰 I’ll forever be grateful for everything that owning him has brought into my life. Without my GTI, I wouldn’t have met my incredible group of friends or had the chance to meet so many amazing people within the car community over the last three years. The memories, the laughs, the adventures, the late nights, and all the little moments in between have made this journey so incredibly special. ❤️ I’m also so unbelievably thankful for every single person who has supported me, helped me, encouraged me, and played a part in helping me achieve everything I have with him today. 🥹🫶 Here’s to 3 amazing years, countless memories, and hopefully many, many more adventures together. @gti_lozza Owner & Co-Founder of @pistondollsandkings Meet Laura, the owner of Piston Dolls & Kings and Co-Founder of the Car Club. Piston Dolls & Kings was established in September 2023 whilst Laura was on a cruise across the North Sea, heading towards the Norwegian Fjords. What started as a girls-only car club soon evolved into something much bigger. After meeting so many amazing new people and making lasting friendships, Laura decided that PDK should be an all-inclusive community, welcoming everyone who shares the same passion for cars and the automotive scene. It was during that holiday that the original Piston Dolls were created — Bunni, Ivy, Luna and Willow. Shortly afterwards, Iona was introduced to represent Laura’s MK7 VW Golf GTI Performance. The characters were brought to life from Laura’s ideas and mood boards by the incredibly talented Anna of @mortem.ink. In 2024, the Piston Kings joined the family, with Ace, King, Vessel, Taiyo and Seb (GTI Bear) once again brought to life by Anna. Then, in 2025, we welcomed our first Japanese Doll, Blossom, alongside our Skater Bear, Levi, designed by the amazingly talented Sammie of @blossom_pulsar. What started as an idea for a brand became so much more. Life, circumstances and the journey along the way shaped PDK into what it is today — a community built around friendship, cars, creativity and, most importantly, bringing people together. For Laura, the best part has always been meeting like-minded people, making new friends and being surrounded by others who share the same passion. Whether it's at shows, events or simply enjoying the car scene together, that's what makes PDK so special. And now, we're looking forward to an exciting 2027, with our very first PDK Club Stands planned at some fantastic shows. We can't wait to see where the next chapter takes us. 🖤🏁 by @gti_lozza
