POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TMNT fan since I was 9 years old (I’m 10 in the photo). It’s a classic story of boyhood fandom.

Photo taken in Torquay 1990. The same town I stayed in last summer.

عاشق لسلاحف النينجا منذ كان عمري ٩ سنوات. في الصورة عمري ١٠.

الصورة التقطت في بلدة توركي جنوب انجلترا التي قمت بزيارتها في الصيف الماضي.

Grendizers

15 figures from my Grendizer collection. I started collecting licensed Grendizer figures more than 22 years ago and I’m still missing a bunch of good licensed ones that have become rare and expensive to find and buy. The first piece I ever purchased was GX-04 Soul of Chogokin Grendizer that I got from my big brother @bousalehhobbies back in 2000.

Which one do you like most?

@necaofficial Movie Turtles based on the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie.

These are still such great figures with the only real problem they have design wise is their limited articulation.

Pictures taken with Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR.

Masters of The Universe (1987) HE-MAN action figure by Super7.

I never shared these pictures before. I only shared a set for Skeletor but never posted these pictures with the @dolphlundgren HE-MAN action figure. One of the reasons is because I didn’t think many people would have engaged with the post and the other reason is that his left eye is so badly painted and it’s a QC issue that annoys me to no end when the eyes are uneven or one looks properly painted and the other one doesn’t. That being said, the rest of this figure is really nice with superb detailing. This figure would have been even better if it came with a wired cape.

The last one of the set. Neca TMNT Movie 1990 Raphael 7 inch action figure part of the SDCC 2018 exclusive box set:

Unfortunately Raph has a broken right leg because when I first got the figure I was trying to get a basic pose and the leg snapped right off. This was a very common issue with Neca figures from back then.

I managed to make a basic fix using a drill bit and copper pipe to attach the leg but it’s not a permanent fix sadly but it can keep the figure standing for years and it did. I eventually bought another Raph when they released them in single packs.

TMNT Movie 1990 Michelangelo 7 inch action figure by @necaofficial

This one is from the original 2018 SDCC VHS set. It was on display for 8 years and I only recently cleaned the figure and put it back in the box. But before that I took a few pictures of him and his brothers.

These are still such great figures with the only real problem they have design wise is their limited articulation.

Pictures taken with Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR.
