Every time I think about posting on this app, I remember that I usually don’t care and neither does anyone else lol. But the timeline can always use more Cassidy.

I hold Cassidy in the absolute highest regard among some of the greatest to ever do it. Lady Gaga has her music, Scorsese his movies, Anna Wintour her magazine, and Cassidy her absolute joy of life. To me, there’s no one who does it better than her.

If you’ve ever had a hug from Cassidy, you know her love of people flows free and easy.

Happy birthday to the beauty who makes everything (including me) brighter

Happy 30th birthday CG! My angel!!!!

It’s likely that this post isn’t for you!!!!!! I’m hoping this post reaches a lot of white people. The “Chads and Brads” who’ve been posting photos of themselves on boats this week. Also share with your uncles in Virginia and Florida who are “fiscally conservative”. I’m posting this for them.
I’m here to vow not to turn away from this when it’s left the news cycle. I’m privileged. I’ve had a leg up my entire life because I’m white. Sure, I’m smart and nice to people and have achieved some great things. But everything I’ve achieved, I’ve had a head start. My privilege allows me to go on a run in a hoodie. To go into a store and decide not to buy anything and walk out. It allows me to be comfortable in places my black friends are not comfortable in. It allows me to be making this post. My privilege allows my family to be worried when I go to protests, a SLIVER of the worry my black brothers and sisters’ families feel when they go to the grocery store.
Another thing, American culture was stolen from black people. I’m fucking pissed about how many people posted about Kobe dying and haven’t said a damn thing about anything going on right now. I’m pissed about anyone who listens to music (guess what black people pretty much started all of it). The gays who dance at gay bars but don’t know who Marsha P is! (Google it)
And while I have you, white men are called “mentally ill” for shooting up a school or movie theater. Black men are killed for walking. Protesters are teargassed for walking the streets with signs that say “BLACK LIVES MATTER”. Black people, I’m listening and I’m not turning away. Let’s go. ***Please send this to all your racist family members, let’s make them uncomfy!!!!*** and if this makes you uncomfy, you enjoy your privilege cause it’s someone else’s oppression.
