Hi, I’m Siobhan! 👋

I’m a Qualified Dental Nurse with extended duties in Radiography, Intra Oral Scanning, Impression Taking and Fluoride Varnish application - a skill I gained while volunteering chairside with a dental charity in Morocco.

In the clinic, I frequently see preventable dental trauma from contact sports, usually due to ill-fitting mouthguards or no protection at all. 🙅🏼‍♀️

My job is to ensure our workflow follows strict dental protocols and clinical standards so that you receive the best mouthguard possible.

Outside of dentistry, I prioritise my health and self-care with weekly PT and gym sessions, rounding out my week with Sunday Reformer Pilates to reset for the days ahead. 🫶🏽✨ by @guardxmouthguards

Meet Dr Amarjit Landa BDS MSc PGDip MFDS RCPSG(Glasg) -

I graduated in Dentistry from The University of Manchester in 2016. I have since done my postgraduate qualifications in Restorative and Surgical Dentistry. Working in the NHS 111 and Private emergency services, I have seen firsthand how dental trauma can impact people’s lives (and expensive to fix!).

Before I was a dentist, I was a massive martial arts enthusiast along with the rest of my family. I am a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo but now do a little bit of MMA to keep fit and active.

For 10 years now I have been making mouthguards but wanted to perfect the fit which took a lot of trial and error. I needed something that will give elite athletes the 0.1% edge over their opponents but also provide the right level of protection to the dental structures.

GuardX was everything I wished for when I was in the competitive circle - a high performing mouthguard that fits comfortably and eliminated all distractions in the ring. Unfortunately I still have the bad memories of gagging on a boil and bite mouthguard…

I’m looking forward to upgrading your fit and elevating your performance whether it’s on the field or the ring.

Born in the ring. Perfected in the clinic. 🏆 by @guardxmouthguards

Amazing set up at the @fightstarinterclub in Birmingham.

What a great initiative for grassroots MMA and Muay Thai fighters to compete in a safe and controlled environment.

Catch us @fightstarchampionship in Manchester next Saturday for another chance to ditch the boil & bite and upgrade your protection - better comfort and easy breathing awaits. taken in Birmingham, United Kingdom by @guardxmouthguards

ITF World Cup 🇪🇸🌍🏆
What an experience for first international ITF World Cup taking home a bronze in a stacked category of 67 people
After fighting multiple bouts against 🇧🇪🇺🇸🇮🇪🇵🇾, took home a 🥉 after losing the semis to 🇮🇪.
Happy with the performance for first time but more work is needed to reach the top.
Thanks to @apexevesham for giving me the opportunity to fight at this international stage.
Thanks also to @prestigemartialart and @liverpooltaekwondo for the constant training and preparation back at home.
Onwards and upwards 🔥📈
