Huge congratulations to this amazing young lady on graduating high school! 🎓👏🏽 This is such a major milestone and only the beginning of many great accomplishments ahead.

Next step: joining the DC Army National Guard 🇺🇸 and becoming a huge asset to the organization. I already know she has a bright future ahead of her, and I wish her nothing but success throughout her military career. I’m looking forward to mentoring and coaching her every step of the way.

I also want to give a special shoutout to her dad, her friend, and her entire support system. Having family and people in your corner means EVERYTHING during big life transitions like this, and that support goes a long way.

Can’t wait to officially welcome you into the DC Army National Guard family! 💪🏽 side note: the Suya was BOMB! lol

Me and my kids went to our first baseball game for free — shoutout to being in the military, specifically the DC Army National Guard. A time was definitely had! ⚾️❤️

People think it’s just about a check and some boots, but the perks go way beyond that. We get opportunities, experiences, connections, and memories we can share with our families too.

So… why haven’t you joined yet? 👀🇺🇸 by @guardyourfuturedc

Major respect to this future Soldier for trusting the process and staying locked in every step of the way.

On April 14th, 2026, PVT Curry officially enlisted into the DC Army National Guard as an 09M with a 6-year contract.

After being turned away by the Navy due to his neck tattoo and not yet having a passing test score, he didn’t fold, he found another route and stayed committed. That’s what separates those who make it from those who don’t.

Through our 09M program, he’s been given the opportunity to build, improve, and earn his place.

No bonus. No shortcuts. Just discipline, resilience, and a mindset to level up.

This path isn’t just about a check, it’s about structure, growth, and real opportunity. And this is only the beginning.

✨ If you’ve been thinking about serving, take this as your sign. Ready to invest in yourself? Let’s talk! I’m selecting 12 more candidates.

The other day we had the honor of attending Mrs. Williams’ retirement ceremony after 45 years of service at the Potomac Job Corps Center in Washington, D.C. 🙌🏽

It was truly a beautiful experience — celebrating a woman who has dedicated her life to uplifting and mentoring young people. You don’t see that kind of commitment often anymore. Mrs. Williams is a true legend and an inspiration to us all. 💐

Wishing her all the best in her retirement and beyond. Thank you for everything you’ve done for generations of students through Job Corps!

If you’re ready to start building a career, a future, and a legacy of your own — DM me to learn how the Army National Guard can help you get started. 💪🏽🇺🇸 by @guardyourfuturedc

Over the weekend we walked for my mother who won her battle against breast cancer, those currently fighting and those who loss the fight. October isn’t just about pumpkins and costumes, it’s about strength, survival, and supporting those who battle breast cancer. 🎗️💖 by @guardyourfuturedc
