Behind the Craft. . Today, it is essential for brands to extend beyond their own spaces. Exhibitions, cultural events, and professional platforms create new opportunities for craftsmanship to connect with people, design, and contemporary culture. For Guculiya, the Behind the Craft exhibition, presented as part of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS27, offered an opportunity to introduce Ukrainian black-smoked ceramics to new audiences, expand its reach, and reveal its value beyond the traditional context of craftsmanship. After all, keeping a tradition alive begins with making it visible. The more contexts in which we share the story of our craft, the more people can discover it, connect with it, and choose to preserve it. Direct ⤵️⤵️⤵️ • Oh my, how beautiful this is. That’s the most common reaction we hear when people see this piece for the first time. And what makes us happiest is hearing that the admiration doesn’t end with the purchase. People use it every day, find their own ways to use it, and write to us saying that it’s one of those pieces that brings them joy every time they see it. Because it’s not only a beautiful architectural form. It’s incredibly valuable for us to see Ukrainian ceramics becoming something people want to admire and use. This is how we see contemporary Ukrainian tableware - let’s create a new Ukrainian ceramic heritage. Розглядайте нові вироби Guculiya — в крамниці та на сайті 🌙 — We’re showing the new Guculiya collection — a brand that creates objects not just for everyday life, but for those who want to understand what they hold in their hands. Every piece carries cultural depth, living craft and a thread between generations. Not copying the past, continuing its roots in a new era. New arrivals include cups in black smoke-fired ceramics, one of the oldest ceramic techniques. Porous, unglazed, each one unique — they absorb the scent of your chosen drink and become more personal over time. The collection also features a linen napkin with a Tree of Life print and candleholders that carry the same depth of symbolism. Drevko — a multifunctional object on the edge of design and sculpture. Three tiers of bowls around a central axis rooted in a pysanka ornament symbol. Reassemble it with every new mood, space or occasion. And a vase that reminds you: you can be different, full or restrained, with flowers or without, and still remain yourself. Explore new Guculiya pieces — in our shop and online🌙 by @guculiya_
