I love quilting bees 🐝 they are great opportunities to build fellowship & learn new things from talented creatives. @alil1847 shared with our bee how to make her fabric tape that she always includes in our bee mail awhile back.. and I FINALLY made some of my own to clear up the scrap mountain on my desk. ⛰️

One roll of carpet tape + all of the tiny bits and pieces of fabrics I couldn’t throw away = bags full of fabric tape!! It’s GENIUS. Thank you Alex ♥️
(Psssst. She’s full of amazing creativity, go give her a follow if you aren’t already following her page). 💌

Hey hey HEY 🤩 This might just be my favorite quilt EVER. A HUGE thank you to @petuniaquilts for getting me into quilting bees last year. I have made wonderful friendships and now I’m involved in FOUR hives. If you haven’t signed up for a quilting bee yet… this is your sign to get involved. All of these blocks were put together by my hive mates in #queensofquilting #sewingbeeforelaundry #scrappylowkeybee hives. THANK you ladies. 💕 I just need to put the binding on it and then I’ll be snuggling it all year long while playing fussy cut EYE SPY. 🐝

I have done VERY little sewing this Summer (little as in none). I’ve been busy pouring into my kiddos, dedicating more time to the Lord and honestly.. sewing/quilting has not been a source of joy for me for many months… This is the first thing I’ve sewn in over 4 months?? CRAZY. 🤪

This Bible cover was made for the sweetest, most spirit filled woman who faithfully hosted and led us through our Summer book study. These bright and cheerful fabrics reminded me of her exuberant and radiant love for Christ. ✝️

I used the three sister designs grid interfacing for the first time and OMGOSH…. I think I need a whole roll of that stuff. It was so fun and easy to put together this scrappy patchwork. 🙌🏼 Will definitely be using it again in the future. 🌟
