A moment for my final hotel in Bangkok… @siamatsiambangkok 🤎

As an interior design student, staying in thoughtfully designed spaces is one of my favorite parts of traveling. I’m always paying attention to the materials, textures, color palettes, lighting, and how each space is laid out because it all becomes inspiration for future projects.

I’ve realized I feel the most at home in places with character and intentional design, and this hotel absolutely delivered. Every detail felt considered, and you can tell how much thought and creativity went into creating the experience. Safe to say I’m thoroughly impressed. by @guelli.interiors

One of the places I knew I wanted to visit while in Bangkok, The Jim Thompson House, is made up of six traditional Thai teak homes that were brought together to create one residence, making it one of the city’s most well known examples of preserved Thai architecture. Jim Thompson played a major role in bringing international attention to Thailand’s silk industry before mysteriously disappearing in Malaysia in 1967. His disappearance remains unsolved.
