‼️1st printed recipe! This is my take on a Congolese dish called Saka Saka which is a dish made with with Casava Leaves, Red Palm Oil, & Peanut Butter. It is typically served over rice and is very similar to southern style greens. @lsiglobalgreens presented the opportunity to provide samples at their farmers market highlighting a super crop that is gaining a lot of attention that is Lenga Lenga (similar to spinach) and I was honored to put my passion forward. Trade the Casava for Lenga Lenga and replace the peanut butter with tahini, and you now have my take on Saka Saka. Pick a recipe up at @the.refill.market or I may just have some on me if you catch me in the wild 🌱🦍🌱
Try it out for yourself & don’t be scared to make it spicy!
Thank you to @lsiglobalgreens and all the Refugee farmers they work with. Go check out their farmers market while you still have time! taken in Des Moines, Iowa by @guerilla_kitchen_
